Dr. Larry Lewis

Dr. Larry R. Lewis, 69, of St. Lawrence, passed away April 19, 2011 at 10:25 PM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where he was a patient since Saturday March 26th. He was the husband of Mindy J. (Verk) Lewis, who he married June 25, 1966. Born in Reading on July 28, 1941, he was the son of the late Stanley A. Lewis and the late Evelyn (Kochlin) Lewis.

Larry graduated from Reading High School in 1958, Albright College in 1961 and the University of Pittsburgh Dental School in June of 1966. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Dr. Lewis practiced dentistry from 1966 until retiring in 2007 in St Lawrence.

In addition to his wife Dr. Lewis is survived by 2 sons David E. Lewis husband of Kristen Frederick Lewis of Los Angeles, CA and Michael R. Lewis of Brooklyn, NY. He is the nephew of Myer and Grace Lewis.
