Dr. Jerome Buzas

Dr. Jerome W. Buzas, 69, of Spring Twp., passed away on December 18, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family following a two year battle with brain cancer.
Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Florence J. (Vockie) Buzas.
Dr. Buzas attended Moravian College, where he received his undergraduate education. He went onto attend Temple University School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree. He was employed as a Dermatologist for 35 years.
Jerome enjoyed fishing, gardening, landscaping, and home improvement projects. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife: Joyce A. (Manikas) Buzas, children: Heather K. Buzas of Newport News, VA, Christopher J. Buzas DO, husband of Robin C. of Danville, and Jessica A. Lamparella, wife of Nicholas Lamparella DO of Macungie. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Charlie, Colin, Ian, Lily, and Jack.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Ignatius Loyola RCC, 2810 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 6-8:00PM and on Friday from 9-10:00AM.
