Dr. Ismael Figueroa

Dr. Ismael Figueroa, 73, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the Reading Hospital. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Ramona Vilar and Ismael Figueroa. Ismael was the loving husband to Looyee for over 34 years of Marriage.  Dr. Figueroa, received his Doctorate of Philosophy from The Pennsylvania State University in Curriculum and Instruction, and served as a teacher for the Philadelphia School District for over 15 Years before his retirement. He is our Lord’s faithful follower.

In addition to his wife, brother, sister, mother, and father, Dr. Figueroa is survived by his children, Shad Figueroa, of Reading, Daniel Figueroa, husband of Katie, of Lebanon, Reuben Figueroa, of Sinking Spring, and David Figueroa, of Sinking Spring. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tony, Cara, Annie, and Davin. Dr. Figueroa is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608 on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Jose Ortiz and Pastor Howard Dissinger to officiate.
