Dortha J. Finogle, 90, formerly of Shillington, passed away February 14, 2016 in Berkshire Center.
She was the widow of Benjamin A. Finogle, who passed away August 29, 1994.
Born in Liberty, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leon E. and Alta L. (Miller) Brown.
Dortha was a graduate of Liberty High School and was employed as a sewing machine operator for various manufacturers, retiring in 1984.
Survivors include her children: Duane R. Finogle, Troy, PA; Lawrence A. Finogle, Sinking Spring; Dale L. Finogle, Reading; Richard L. Finogle, Hamburg; Gary L. Finogle, Sinking Spring; David A. Finogle, Sinking Spring; Carol A. Wentzel, Lebanon; Barbara L. Finogle, Dallas, PA; Linda K. Zeimer, West Lawn; Debra A. Schwambach, Reading; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and a brother Harold Brown, Liberty, PA. She was preceded in death by children Leon A., Robert E., Jeffrey L.; Connie J. Henry; sisters Anna Mitstifer, Ruby Gastrock.
Services will be held in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, Friday February 19, 2016 at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends 10:00-11:00am.
