Dorothy Rothenberger

Dorothy S. Rothenberger, 87, of Lower Heidelberg Twp., passed away January 16, 2016 in ManorCare, Spring Township where she was a guest since June.
She was the loving wife of Ernest E. Rothenberger, they would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in April.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva (Bower) Stoudt.
Dorothy was a process checker at the former Lucent Technologies for 30years, retiring in 1986.
Mrs. Rothenberger took great pride in caring for her home and her beautiful gardens and enjoyed tackling jigsaw puzzles. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband Ernest, are children Shirley A. Reichert, Blandon; Linda D. Rothenberger, Ashland, PA; six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter JoAnn Lieber in 1992 and a grandson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Rothenberger's memory to American Cancer Society, 498 E. Bellevue Ave. Reading, PA 19605.
A memorial service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
