Dorothy M. McLean "Dottie", 75, of Exeter passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in Reading Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Philadelphia, Dorothy was the daughter of the late William N. Barclay, Sr. and Dorothy M. (Sooy) Barclay. She was employed by SEPTA as a cashier on the Market-Frankford Line for many years before retiring in 1990. Dot then relocated to Florida in 1991 only to return in 2013. She loved crafts, traveling and children. She is survived by her sons Timothy B. McLean, husband of Darcy McLean of Mohnton and David Scott McLean, husband of Jeanne McLean of Ridley Township and was preceded in death by her son Howard J McLean. Dorothy is also survived by her grandchildren David, Tiffany, John, Katie and Julie and her 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother William N. Barclay, Jr. of Harleysville; her nephew William Barclay III; nieces Robin Gleason and Janice Douglass; her great nieces Alicia, Erin, Devlyn, Laura, Joy; great nephews Joe and Timothy "TJ" and several great great nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory Saturday 1:00-2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Heart Association 7272 Greenville, Ave. Dallas, Texas 75231 in memory of Mrs. Dorothy M. McLean.
