Dorothy Held

Dorothy M. Held, 91, formerly of Breinigsville, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 2:20 am at The Henry Health Care Center at Topton Lutheran Home.  She was preceded in death by her husband Carl A. Held who passed away October 30, 2018.  Born in Reading, Mrs. Held was the daughter of the late Russell W. and Evelyn E. (Faust) Breininger.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Topton and was a 1949 graduate of Reading High School.  Mrs. Held was employed by Berkshire Knitting Mills for 24 years as a folder.  She was preceded in death by her sister Betty Didyoung and is survived by her nieces Patrice Zaffory of Shillington, Denise Reinert of Kutztown, her nephews Richard Didyoung, Jr. of Loysville, PA and Rockey Didyoung of Reading.

Graveside Service will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery 650 Fritztown Road, Sinking Spring, Friday, July 22, 2022 at 1:00 pm.  Reverend Carl Schmoyer will officiate.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church 1 South Home Road, Topton, PA 19562 in memory of Mrs. Dorothy M.
