Dorothy Defazio

Dorothy M. DeFazio, 86, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11:45 am at Mifflin Center.  She was the wife of the late Natale DeFazio who passed away June 12, 2004.     Born in Reading, Mrs. DeFazio was the daughter of the late Andrew Billman and Martha (Miller) Merkle.  She was employed by Baldwin Hardware as a polisher.  Mrs. DeFazio is survived by her children Maria C. Hill, wife of Jay S. Hill of Reading; Robert Amey, Jr., husband of Kim Amey of Birdsboro; her 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brother Lawrence Billman of Mohnton; Half-Brother Donald Billman of Denver, PA; Half-Sister Helen Billman of Reading and was preceded in death by her 4 children Andrew, Michael, Gregory DeFazio; Kimberly Amey and by her Half-Brother Russell Stauffer.

Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Monday, December 20, 2021 at 1:00 pm.  Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate.  Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Monday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes. com
