Doris "Pinky" Ellingsworth

Doris “Pinky” E. (Bressler) Ellingsworth, 89, of Mt. Penn passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in her home on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.  Born in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Ackley) and Clayton Bressler.  She was the wife of the late Harry Ellingsworth with whom she shared 8 years of marriage until his passing on July 23, 1994. Pinky worked as the Floor Girl at Hamburg Knitting Company for 20 years until her retirement in 1986.  She was a member of Seyfert Wesleyan Church and of the Oriental Shrine #24 Eastern Star.  She was a part of sewing circles, ceramic classes, and the CB Club.  Pinky enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.  She loved all, was loved by all, and always treated everyone equally.

Pinky is survived by her children; Donald Kramer, husband of Nancy of Christiana, Bruce Kramer, husband of Alvera of Slatington, Darlene Cyphers, of Reading, David Cyphers, of Blandon, and Michael Ellingsworth, husband of Jessica of Mt. Penn.  Also surviving are her 20 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild with 3 more on the way, many nieces and nephews, her dog, Lulu, and her cat, Midnight.  Pinky is preceded in death by her daughter, Doris E. Halteman.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11:00am in Seyfert Wesleyan Church, 2 Maple Rd., Birdsboro, PA 19508.  Pastor Doug Ploof to celebrate.  The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, October 5th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Bean Funeral Homes, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring and on Wednesday, October 6th from 10:00am to 11:00am in Seyfert Wesleyan Church.  Interment will follow the services at Aulenbach Cemetery.  Bean Funeral Homes, Sinking Spring is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com.
