Doris M. Yerger

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Doris Yerger passed away peacefully at home on February 6, 2025. She was 91 years of age. Doris was born in Reading PA where she was raised by her paternal grandparents Robert and Frances Reinert. Doris was married for 65 years to her soulmate, Donald Sr., who preceded her in death in 2015,

Doris worked for over 33 years at Western Electric, then AT&T and Lucent Technologies, until her retirement. She was a petite lady with a strong will and kind heart. Doris and husband Donald raised three sons in an active household - Deane (who proceeded her in death in 2023) husband of Diane, Reading, PA, Donald Jr. (Mary) of Sherrills Ford, NC, and Dennis (Michelle), Fleetwood, PA. She is also survived by her brother Tommy Reinert (husband of Sis). 

As grandmother to Tim, Derek, Josh, Jared, Bryan, Alyssa and Gina she was a fun Nanny who frequently took the kids on trips to Disney World, the Liberty Bell, Knoebels Grove, family cruises, and doing whatever she could to spoil them rotten. Doris is also survived by great grandchildren Roman, Solomon, Lillian, Samuel, Zara, Finn, Maverick and Rowdy.

Doris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
