Doris Snyder

Doris W. Snyder, 90, formerly of West Wyomissing, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 1:15 am in Elmcroft Senior Living. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, David B. Snyder, Sr., who passed away March 5, 2012. Born in Reading, Mrs. Snyder was the daughter of the late William and Hazel (Will) Smorey. She was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church and was a member of Golden Eagles Senior Citizens Club. Mrs. Snyder was a seamstress for former Berkshire Knitting Mills. She is survived by her daughters Elaine J. Koch, wife of Maynard B. Koch of West Lawn and Diane L. Doutre, wife of Donald Doutre of Royal Palm Beach, Florida and her son David B. Snyder, Jr. of Reading and her 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mrs. Snyder is also survived by her sister Marilyn Edwards a resident of Berks Heim.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:00 am. Reverend Jeffrey A. Raffauf will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Wednesday 10:00-11:00 am.
