Doris Stubblebine

Doris J. (Arnold) Stubblebine, 75, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she had been a patient for more than three weeks fighting her courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Camden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Victor E. Arnold and Esther F. (Berger) Arnold.

She was the wife of Barry S. Stubblebine Sr. at home. The couple shared 57 wonderful years of marriage.

She worked as a sewing machine operator for Dolphin Industries in Shillington for ten years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Sinking Spring Historical Society.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter: Patricia A., wife of William Johnson Jr. of Morgantown; and a son: Barry S. Stubblebine Jr., husband of Debbie K., of Wenersville.

There are also two grandchildren: William J. Johnson III and Shauna L. Moorman.

She is also survived by her twin brother: Donald G. Arnold of Columbus, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was pre deceased by a grandson: Cory L. Stubblebline.
