Doris Hetrich

Doris M. Hetrich, 94, formerly of Wyomissing Hills, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Country Meadows of Wyomissing. She was the wife of the late Donald F. Hetrich, who passed away June 26, 2016. Born in Girardville, Schuylkill County, Mrs. Hetrich was the daughter of the late Harry M. and Helen (Braun) McDonald. She was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church and worked in the technical labs at AT&T in Reading for 25 A½ years retiring in 1979. Mrs. Hetrich and her husband Donald were avid Penn State Football fans and were season ticket holders for decades as well as attending 18 Bowl Games. She is survived by her brother, Gerald McDonald, husband of Theresa McDonald; niece Judith Ann Wagner, nephews Gerald Joseph McDonald; Michael Joseph McDonald; Patrick Joseph McDonald; Goddaughter Debra A. Ebersole, wife of Craig A. Ebersole and was preceded in death by her niece Helen Marie McCullough.
Memorial Service will be held at Country Meadows of Wyomissing, 1800 Tulpehocken Road, Wyomissing, Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 11:30 am. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
