Donna Reed

Donna S. Reed, 59, of Spring Township, passed away June 29, 2011 at 3:30 pm in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. She was the wife of Lawrence R. Funk. Born in Reading she was the daughter of Dolores E. (Keller) Reed of Spring Township and the late William B. Reed. She was employed by Palmer Candies as a candy maker for 26 years. She loved reading, traveling, painting and spending time with her grandchildren. She is also survived by her sons Michael J. husband of Jeanette Posta of Phoenix, AZ, Joseph B. Posta of Camden, NJ, James W. husband of Bobbie J. Posta of Sinking Spring, step children Matthew A. husband of Jodi Funk of Beaumont, CA and Rebecca A. Funk of Reading along with 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Renee L. wife of Chad D. Firestone of Lebanon, sister in law Faye M. Reed of Sinking Spring and was preceded in death by her brother Guy J. Reed.
