Donald Ulrich

Donald K. Ulrich, known as "Scrub", 79 of Robeson Township, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in his home surrounded by family. He was the husband of Miriam K. (Gates) Ulrich. Born in West Reading, Mr. Ulrich was the son of the late Irvin and Pearl (Moyer) Ulrich. He was a member of the Church of Saint Benedict, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Cushion Peak Rod and Gun Club. He worked as an excavator and was a foreman for DB Diefenderfer in Mount Penn; Esterly Contractor and CE Levan. Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Mr. Ulrich is survived by his daughter Donna M. Blair and her fiance Todd M. Rach, his 4 grandchildren Jennifer, Lynn,Nathan, and Amber, 8 great grandchildren and 27 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Michael K. Ulrich in 1994 and his grandson Joel Ulrich in 2012. Also surviving are his sister Shirley Shimp, wife of Anthony Shimp and his brother Victor Ulrich, husband of Michalene Steffy. He was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church of Saint Benedict 2020 Chestnut Hill Road,
Mohnton, PA 19540, Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 10:00 am. Reverend Philip F. Rodgers, Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Robeson Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in the Church of
Saint Benedict Tuesday 8:45-9:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Church of
Saint Benedict Building Fund at the above address in memory of Mr. Donald K. Ulrich. Bean Funeral
