Donald G. Uhlenburg, 74, of Malvern, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2009 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester, PA, where he had been a patient since Thursday.
Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Willard L. Uhlenburg and Cresencia Uhlenberg.
He was a 1952 graduate of West View High School, and 1956 graduate of Lehigh University, with a degree in Metallurgic Engineering.
In 1972, he purchased Donovan Heat Treating Co. in Philadelphia, a company he still owned today. He was a member of Paoli Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years- Marjory S. (Spang) Uhlenburg; a daughter: Cindy Lou (Uhlenburg), wife of James Maloney of Denver, CO; and a son: Jeffrey D., husband of April Uhlenburg of King of Prussia.
There are also three grandchildren: James T., Connor S., and Keegan P.
He is also survived by his brothers: Ralph of Denver, CO, and Harold of Georgia, and a sister: Louise (Uhlenburg) Meister of Atlanta, GA; and nieces and nephews.
