Donald Koch Sr

Donald A. Koch Sr., 80, of Exeter Twp., passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 7:18 p.m. at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late George P. Koch and Mary (Kiehl) Koch.

He was the husband of Josephine D. (DePaolo) Koch. The couple shared 60 wonderful years of marriage.

He was a 1947 graduate of Reading High School, and served during Peacetime in Japan with the United States Army.

He worked for 32 years in Plumbing and Air Conditioning for Corbits in Reading, and later worked as a shop foreman for D.M.I. in Reading, retiring in 1994.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son: Donald A. Koch Jr., husband of Donna Koch of Birdsboro, PA; daughter: Dianne J. (Koch), wife of Randall Brown of Olathe, KS.

There are also four grandchildren: Jennifer, Cynthia, Randall II, and Victoria; and four great grandchildren: Amanda, Mitchell, Jacob, and Alex.

He is also survived by a brother: Robert Koch of Wernersville.
