Donald Eugene Gehman

Donald Eugene Gehman, 82, of Cumru Township, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 4:30 am at Berks Heim Nursing Home. Born in Bowmansville, Mr. Gehman was the son of the late Chester and Sylvia (Wann) Gehman. He was employed by Hoffman Industries as a stretch wrapper for 36 years retiring February 2006. Mr Gehman was an avid golfer and a long standing member of the Manor Golf club. Mr. Gehman is survived by his daughters Tracey L. Hayden , widow of the late Craig J Hayden of Sinking Spring; Wendy J. Schaeffer wife of Rodney Schaeffer of Blandon; his step-daughters Deborah A. DeLillo wife of Jeffrey S. DeLillo of Bernville; Cynthia Matias of Reading; Sheila Karol wife of Thomas Karol of Mohnton; Linda Trainer wife of Michael Trainer of Sinking Spring and his grandchildren Collin, Ashley, Ryan, Matthew, Amanda, Michael, Terissa and great grandchildren Theodore and Zavanna. Mr. Gehman is also survived by his brothers Jeffrey L. Sweigart of Ephrata and Terry A. Sweigart of Lancaster and was preceded in death by his loving companion of 30 years Helen E. Fletcher.
