Donald Finch

Donald N. Finch, 87, of Douglassville, passed away on December 14, 2018 at The Reading Hospital.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Walter N. Finch and Esther R. (Rohrbach) Allen.
Donald was employed as a Bell Labs Supervisor with Western Electric and then AT&T for 34 years, retiring in 1986. He went on to become the owner and operator of Finch Strawberry Farm. He will be remembered for his love of hunting, woodworking, and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step-mother: Beverly N. Finch and half-sister: Tauna Wahl.
Survivors include his wife: Fern F. (Fick) Finch, children: Bonnie L. Finch of Temple and Alan D.N. Finch of Oley. Also surviving is a half-brother: Dwight Allen of Reading and half-sister: Cerie Kline.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, N.16th & Rockland Sts., Hampden Heights, on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 11:00AM, Certified Celebrant Amy S. Landis officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10-11:00AM.
