Donald Dierolf

Donald P. Dierolf, 72, of Robesonia, passed away April 19, 2016 in his residence.
He was the husband of Elaine D. (Miller) Dierolf; together they shared 47 years of marriage.
Born in Lobachsville, PA, he was the son of the late John R. and Elsie Mae (Strausser) Dierolf.
Mr. Dierolf was employed at Carpenter Technology in security for over 20 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Robesonia; Robesonia Fire Company and held life time memberships at Mt. Pleasant Fire Company and Robesonia Fish and Game.
Donald enjoyed spring car racing and spending time at Ely Race Shop in Fritztown. In his younger years, he was involved in racing homing pigeons along with hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children John R. Dierolf, Naperville, IL; Daniel A. Dierolf, significant other of Amber Brossman, Womelsdorf; Kanda S. Hess, Temple; sister Shirley Zimmerman, Alburtis and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Mary Jane Gilpin.

Graveside service will be held in Heidelberg Cemetery, Robesonia, Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10:00am, Rev. William H. Weiser officiating.
