Donald D. Carswell, Jr., 84, of Spring Twp., passed away on December 3, 2016 at Columbia Cottage.
Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Donald D. Carswell, Sr. and Ruth E. (Jones) Carswell.
Donald was employed as an Engineer, working in Technical Sales Support for Polymer Corporation. In later years he co-found Wyomissing Specialties Corp., where he served as Vice-President. Donald was a member of Reading Community Players and Boy Scouts of America, Troop 431.
He is survived by his Wife: Dolores E. Carswell, Children: Donald D. Carswell, III of Newfoundland, NJ and David A. Carswell, husband of Christine of Hockessin, DL. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Amanda B. Devine, wife of Matthew, Lindsay H. Carswell, Evan D. Carswell, and Olivia C. Carswell; Sister: Ruth Wallace, wife of Abraham; nephews: Bruce Weidenburner, husband of Sally and Richard A. Weidenburner, husband of Linda; Many great nieces and nephews.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
