Dolores Marie Spignesi

Dolores Marie (Faraone) Spignesi, 85, of Spring Township, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 in her residence. Born in Bronx, New York in 1938, Mrs. Spignesi was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mafalda Faraone. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Gennaro A. Spignesi, who passed away in 2018. Together they shared 60 beautiful years of marriage, raised three children, and traveled the world. 

Dolores was a secretary at Albright College until her retirement, and a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, cooking delicious meals and spending time with her friends and family. She especially loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother. 

She is survived by her children Diane M. Spignesi-Dillman of Spring Township; Rose Ann Spignesi of Glen Mills; Nick A. Spignesi husband of Karen L. Spignesi of Charlotte, North Carolina and her 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all family and friends who loved her. 

The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 8:15 am to 9:15 am.  Funeral Procession will depart Bean Funeral Home at 9:15 am.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Chapel of Saint George at Gethsemane Cemetery 3139 Kutztown Road, Lauredale, at 10:00 am.  Reverend Thomas P. Bortz, Celebrant.  Entombment will follow.
