Dolores Shultz

January 8, 1933 — November 21, 2017

Dolores E. Shultz, 84, formerly of Spring Township, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 8:15 pm in Kutztown Manor. She was the wife of the late Delane L. Shultz who passed away June 20, 2016. Born in Reading, Mrs. Shultz was the daughter of the late John C. and Evelyn G. (Rieck) Sowa. She was employed in the billing department at Reading Hospital retiring in 1997. She was a member of West Wyomissing Chapel for 30 years. She enjoyed singing in the choir, helping in a children's' ministry and serving at Greenview Bible Camp with her husband during the summer. Recently, she attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God in West Lawn. Dolores was a dedicated homemaker and a loving, giving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading and loved being outdoors boating, fishing and taking long walks. She always put others before herself and was a godly model to her family. Mrs. Shultz is survived by her son Glenn J. Shultz, husband of Linda Shultz of Allentown and her daughter Cynthia A. Arnold, wife of Roland G. Arnold of Reinholds and her grandchildren Jennifer Edmond; Kevin Arnold; David Shultz; Erica Wolfe and her 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Carol S. Moyer, wife of J. Glenn Moyer of Exeter Township.
Graveside Service will be held in Forest Hills Memorial Park 390 West Neversink Road, Exeter Township Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 am. Reverend Rob Tomes will officiate.
