Dolores Seitzinger

Dolores Ernestine Seitzinger, 91, formerly of Whitfield, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Green Hills Manor in Shillington. She was the wife of the late Ronald C. Seitzinger who passed away in 1992. Born in Reading, Mrs. Seitzinger was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Josephine G. (Prioriello) Lombardo.  During her life she was employed by Pomeroy’s and Boscov’s West Department Stores, Wilson School District and Berkshire Hosiery Mill. Mrs. Seitzinger was an avid bowler who enjoyed gardening, aerobics, playing cards and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Sherry J. Shoemaker, wife of David A. Shoemaker of Blue Bell, PA; Jeffrey C. Seitzinger, husband of Lori J. Seitzinger of Richland, PA; Robert C. Seitzinger, husband of Angela N. Manz Seitzinger of Virginia Beach, VA and her grandchildren Jason D. Shoemaker, husband of Marsha Shoemaker and Jessica C. Hiller, wife of Sean Hiller and Alexandra C. Manz Seitzinger.  Dolores was preceded in death by her 7 siblings, Katharine, Joseph Jr., Edward, Frances, Mary, Dominic, and Ronald

Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family in Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring.  Interment will follow at Mohnsville  Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 in memory of Dolores Ernestine Seitzinger.  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
