Dolores Labate

Dolores L. Labate, 82, of South Heidelberg Township, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 12:15 pm in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital. She was the wife of the late Rocco Labate who passed away March 20, 1996. Born in Reading, Mrs. Labate was the daughter of the late Stanley B. and Mary (Wisneski) Nowotarski. She was employed at AT&T as an assembler. Mrs. Labate enjoyed cooking, dancing and vacationing with her family to Disney World and Williamsburg, Virginia. She was a loving mother to her son William A. Labate with whom she last resided and a loving sister to Lorraine Overley, wife of Benjamin Overley, Sr. of Mount Penn and Cecelia Mullen of Birdsboro and was loved by her nieces and nephews. Mrs. Labate was preceded in death by her siblings Mildred Gagliano; Edward; John; Stanley, Jr.; Eugene; Bernard and Clarence Nowotarski.
The family of Mrs. Labate will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Monday, November 28, 2016 from 5:00-7:00pm. Graveside service will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in the spring of 2017.
