After more than 62 years of joyful marriage, Dolly (Muriel) Ann Wallace, 84, of Cumru Township didn't make it to her intended 105 years, but sure did love enough to fill that many. She was the wife of Thomas E. Wallace. She gazed into her husband's eyes for the last time Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 8:26 pm in Green Hills Manor. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Wallace was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Muriel (Gifford) Maschke. She was a 1951 graduate of Ridley High School in Folsom, Delaware County, and served as a private duty LPN for many years. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wallace is survived by her children Sarah R. Egry, wife of the late Franchot Egry of Ephrata; Patricia E. McPherson, wife of Michael McPherson of Junction City, Oregon; Thomas E.U. Wallace, companion of Art Kenne of Lyman, Maine; Jennifer S. Wilkin, wife of Chuck Wilkin of Glenmoore, and Timothy E. Wallace, husband of Lara Wallace of Coatesville, and by her 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 grandchild and 1 great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters Helen Whitmore of Atglen, and Adeline Zelesnick of Swarthmore, and was preceded in death by her sister Charlotte Knapp.
Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Interment will follow in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Thursday 1:00-2:00 pm.
