Diana Gower

Diana D. (Maimone) Gower, 82, of Shillington, peacefully passed away December 24, 2020 in the Mifflin Center. Born in Chester County, she was the daughter of the late Peter P. and Doris T. (Robison) Maimone. Diana was the wife of the late Eugene M. Gower, who passed away December 4, 2017. She graduated from Birdsboro High School in 1956. Diana worked in the Classified Department at the Reading Eagle Company before retiring. Diana was a dedicated member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Diana is remembered for her angelic singing voice.

Diana is preceded in death by her brother, William P. Maimone, sister, Eleanora M. Zezenski and her great grandchild Rocco P. Guarino. Diana is survived by her children; Susan J. Hilgendorf, widow of Karl of Blandon, Cindy L. Lykens, wife of Randy of Mohrsville, Morris A. Feick, husband of Melanie of Danville, Dean E. Feick and Robert Nejman of Reading, Kristine L. Sanders, wife of Greg of Canton, MI.; her step children, Jeanine A. Brunner, of Oley and Todd P. Gower, husband of Shana of Barto. Also surviving are her grandchildren; John Guarino, husband of Andrea, Nikki Yogi, wife of James, Kelsi Lykens, Jessi Russell, wife of Torin, Nathan Feick, husband of Amy, Macey Feick, Sarah Rauenzhan wife of Jason; Kyle Sanders, Tyler Sanders, and Kayla Gower; her great grandchildren; Alexa, Bentley, Ava, Nicolo, and Rome, and her sisters, Wanda M. Palmieri, of Birdsboro and Patricia M. Hoffman, of Cedar Park, TX.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 at 11:00 AM in, St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1035 Old River Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508. Pastor Dan Schaefer to officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (Alz.org).
