Denny Fasig

Denny H. Fasig, 57, of Bern Township, passed away March 15, 2011 at 4:19 pm in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Theresa M. (Angelisanti) Fasig. Born in Reading he was the son of Doris (Billman) Bixler of Mt. Penn and the late Harold I. Fasig. He was a 1971 graduate of Reading High School. Denny was the owner of D. Fasig Gneral Contractor for 25 years and owner and custom bike builder of Hogskins Customs in Reading. Denny had many award winning bikes in Easy Rider and Biker Magazine and a feature bike which Dave Mann was pictured with was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame. Denny was a member of Reading Motorcycle Club and his hobbies were hot rods, boating, road trips on his bike, NASCAR, enjoyed making custom furniture and unique artwork and his love for animals especially his buddy Samson(blue and gold mccaw). Denny wanted to give back to life so he chose to donate his organs to the Gift of Life Donor Program. In addtion to his wife and mother, he is survived by his sister Tracey wife of Perry Heliger of Pennside, brothers Brad husband of Michele Bixler of Fleetwood Michael W. husband of Wendy L. Fasig of Reading, Troy R. Sr. husband of Rhonda L. Fasig of Reading, as well as many nieces and nephews.
