Dennis Cloyd Sensenig

Dennis Cloyd Sensenig, who was preceded in death by parents Cloyd and Faye Sensenig (Knepp) and his brother Ronald “Ronnie” Sensenig, went to be with the Lord on Friday May 3rd, 2024. Dennis was a loving son, brother, dedicated father, grandfather, navy veteran, and cherished community member. He was adored by all who knew him. Dennis passed away comforted by his son, daughter, their spouses, his grandchildren, and his partner Barb Sensenig, after a swift battle with brain cancer, guided by his faith in the Lord and His plan.

Dennis is survived by his brother Randy (Fran,) son Sean (Anna), daughter Stephanie Giagnocavo (Jeff), Barb’s children Jenn and Kristen and their families, along with his beloved grandchildren Sophie, Mason, Ethan, and Aidan.

Dennis's life was spent in commitment to family, coaching his children's sports and being involved in their activities growing up, and his relationships with grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, whom he cherished. His deep connections with his community will forever be remembered. In retirement, after a career in factory work, he went to college and graduated from Alvernia with a bachelor's degree in social work. He then served Berks County social services and the Office of Aging.

His love for golf, bowling, nature walks, and spiritual connection through prayer brought him joy. Dennis leaves behind a legacy of lasting friendships and profound impact.

Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Friday, June 14, 2024 at 5:30 pm.  Amy S. Landis, Celebrant will officiate.  The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.   In place of flowers, donations to the VA Office of Veterans Affairs are appreciated.
