Denise L. Santangelo, 73, of Exeter Township, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, surrounded by her 3 children. Born in Reading, Denise was the daughter of the late Richard A. Fichthorn and Katherine E. (Behm).
Denise was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and went on to attend Reading Muhlenberg Vocational School receiving her LPN. She also received an Associate in Applied Sciences from RACC and later a Bachelor of Science from Kutztown University.
Denise is survived by her children, Kristie Jacoby, wife of Travis, of Exeter Township, Lisa Santangelo, of Birdsboro, Joseph Santangelo, of San Diego CA, grandchildren, Katelynn Geist, and Charles Jacoby.
In addition to her parents, Denise is predeceased by her brother, Dennis Fichthorn.
Funeral service for Denise will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM in Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Reading, PA 19606. Interment to follow in Charles Evans Cemetery.
