Delane Shultz

Delane Leroy Shultz, 87, of Spring Twp, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, June 20, 2016.
He was the husband to Dolores E. (Sowa) Shultz for 63 years.
Born on March 26, 1929, he was the son of the late Robert and Edna (Miller) Shultz.
Delane was employed as a printer at Rieck Printing and West Lawn Printing, retiring in 1996.
He was a member of West Wyomissing Chapel for 30 years where he enjoyed singing in the choir. Recently he attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God, in West Lawn. He served on the board of directors for Greenview Bible Camp where he shared his love of horsemanship with the campers.
Delane enjoyed horseback riding, tennis, racquetball, and golf. He and his wife enjoyed time spent on the lake with their canoe; but most importantly spending time with family. He will be remembered for his love of laughter and sharing stories.
Surviving in addition to his wife Dolores is a daughter Cindy Arnold, wife of Roland; son Glenn Shultz, husband of Linda; grandchildren Jennifer Edmond, Kevin Arnold, David Shultz and Erica Wolfe; six great-grandchildren and a brother Leon Shultz. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Shultz.
Graveside service will be held in Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 12 noon, Rev. Rob Tomes to officiate.
