Deborah Morris

Deborah Louise (Blanchard) Morris, 44, of Reading, went home to her Lord Sunday, March 4 2018 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Blanchard and Helen (Wagner) Clark. Deborah earned two Master's degrees in education from Kutztown University. She taught math at Muhlenberg High School, with a genuine love for her students. She also served on the board of Berks Christian School. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals, listening to music, playing games, and spending time with her family. She loved to laugh and make others laugh, and was known for her joyful, playful, upbeat attitude. She had a gift for compassion and a love for people. Deborah leaves her family and friends with a legacy of faith, hope, and love. She loved her Lord Jesus and had a passion for impacting others with His love in every aspect of her life. She faithfully and joyfully served in a number of ministries including teaching, discipleship, community outreach, preparing meals, and a church plant. May it comfort our hearts that she is a good and faithful servant in the presence and joy of her Savior. She is survived by her loving husband Daniel W. Morris and three children; Tyler Ohrin, Trent Morris, and Alisyn Morris. She is also survived by her eight siblings; Alice Blanchard, Tracy Blanchard, Jennifer Atkins, Michael Blanchard, Steven Blanchard, Joseph Blanchard, Patricia Blanchard, Robert Blanchard and their families.
The family will receive relatives and friends Friday March 9, 2018 from 3:30pm-7:30pm at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. at 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, PA, 19606. Funeral Service will be held at Exeter Bible Church, 926 Philadelphia Terrace, Birdsboro, PA 19508, on Sunday March 11, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Pastor Dean and Pastor Dave will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Berks Christian School, 926 Philadelphia Terrace, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
