Deborah A. Fuoti

Deborah A. Fuoti, 68, of Spring Township, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 1:00 am at Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, Ms. Fuoti was the daughter of the late Anthony and Gladys (Perrotto) Fuoti. She grew up in Lincoln Park and was a graduate of Wilson High School. Ms. Fuoti worked in the office of her father’s business, the Buttonwood IGA in Reading. She then went out on her own in 1998 and opened the Gourmet Corner, a deli and prepared foods stand at the Fairgrounds Farmers Market. Deb was famous for her homemade chicken salad and cucumber salad, among many other things. She sold her business and retired in 2018 after 20 successful years in business and many friends made along the way. She loved the beach, spending time with her family, and spoiling her two grandsons. 

Ms. Fuoti is survived by her daughter Stephanie L. Robertson, wife of Taylor J. Robertson of Sinking Spring, and her grandsons Lucas A. and Dylan J. Also surviving are her siblings: Anthony Fuoti, Jr. of Sinking Spring; Beverly Livezey, wife of William Livezey of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Gerald Fuoti, husband of Wendy Fuoti of Blandon; and several nieces and a nephew. Ms. Fuoti was preceded in death by her nephew D. Seth Fuoti.

Prayer Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 10:00 am. Reverend Samuel Yeovah will officiate. Inurnment will follow at the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, Monday, December 2, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
