Deane A. Yerger

Deane A. Yerger, 70, of Reading, passed away Wednesday August 9, 2023 after a 2 ½ year battle with PSP, a neurological disease.  He was born September 12, 1952 and was the son of Doris M. Yerger of Laureldale and the late Donald R. Yerger, Sr.  He was the loving husband of Diane L. Yerger and celebrated 45 years of marriage.  He was a big NASCAR fan with Mark Martin being his favorite driver.  He loved all sports, especially the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers and loved watching Penn State Football.  He bowled for many years in a bowling league and loved to play golf.  Deane was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and retired for CarTech in 2015 working 38 years.  He is also survived by his sons Timothy A. Yerger of Reading and Bryan M. Yerger of San Diego, California and his fiancé Linda and a 2 year old granddaughter Zara.  Deane is also survived by his brothers Donald R. Yerger, Jr. (Mary) of North Carolina and Dennis A. Yerger(Michelle) of Fleetwood.
