Dawn A. Neeb

Dawn A. (Harner) Neeb, 84, of Monterey, CA, formerly of Wyomissing, PA passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Carmelo Park in Monterey, CA. She was the loving wife to Wendell M. Neeb for over 28 years of marriage, before his passing on January 13, 2003. Born in Philadelphia County, Dawn was the daughter of the late Rev. John W. Harner and Catherine Mae (Null). She graduated from Upper Dublin High School and attended college at Kutztown University. She worked for the Reading Planning Commision prior to meeting Wendell, became a caring stay-at-home mom, and later worked for Wendell's real estate appraisal business. Dawn was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church in Wyomissing, PA prior to moving to California in 2019 to be near her daughter. Dawn was an active member of the Spring Township Women's Club. She enjoyed swimming, oil painting, photography, traveling and time spent with friends and family.

Dawn is survived by her daughter, Pamela A. Neeb Wade, and son-in-law Patrick S. Wade, of Pacific Grove, CA.

Funeral services for Dawn will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave. Shillington, PA 19607. Pastor Katie Lyon to officiate. Entombment to follow at Charles Evans Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, Shillington, on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dawn’s memory to The Alzheimer’s Association or The Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
