Dawn G. Kissling, 84, of South Heidelberg Township, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11:56 am in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Carl W. Kissling. Born in Leesport, Mrs. Kissling was the daughter of the late Paul and Annie (Gernert) Miller. She was a 1950 graduate of Wilson High School and was a member of St. John's Reformed Church in Sinking Spring. In addition to her husband , Mrs. Kissling is survived by her children Bonnie L. Fox of Sinking Spring; Michael P. Kissling, husband of Tara M. Kissling of Port Orange, Florida and Marcia A. Cobb, wife of Timothy R. Cobb of Sinking Spring along with her grandchildren Ashley and her husband John; Kelsea and her husband Jake; Shane, Alex and Billy and her great grandchildren Abigail, Andrew and Benjamin. Mrs. Kissling was preceded in death by her sister Peggy Shirey. Our beloved Mamaw was happiest when surrounded by her extensive loving family. Her life was filled with adventures of traveling the world, casino trips, and too many bingo games to count.
Funeral Service will be held in St. John's Reformed Church, 4001 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Monday, May 1, 2017 at 12:00pm. Reverend Robert S. Ziehmer will officiate. Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2:30 pm. The family will receive relatives and friends in St. John's Reformed Church Monday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John's Reformed Church Memorial Fund at the above address in memory of Mrs. Dawn G. Kissling.
