David Sternberg

David R. Sternberg, 62, of Upper Tulpehocken Township, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:30 pm in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Jules and Mary (Briedenbaugh) Sternberg. He was a graduate of Reading High School and attended Pace Institute for paralegal. Mr. Sternberg was self employed mechanic for 7 years. He is survived by his fiancAC. of Jonica M. Smith; step son Michael S. Smith and his children Elizabeth and Phoebe Smith. He is also survived by his brothers Marc J. Sternberg of Bernville; John Kerper Sternberg of West Lawn and his sisters Sue Ellen Sternberg of West Lawn and Robin Jules Sternberg of Stevens along with several nieces and nephews. Also surving is his step brother Kenny Maus of Reading. Mr. Sternberg was preceded in death by his son Michael Jules Sternberg, May 14, 2007 and his brother Jules Michael Sternberg.
