David Ray

David V. Ray, formerly of Reading, passed away October 20, 2010 at 3:00 pm in Spruce Manor Nursing & Rehabilitaiton Center where he was a resident since August 8, 2008. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Victor E. Ray and Ruth P.(Stitzel)Ray Kalbach. Mr. Ray was employed in the maintenance department at MetEd in Reading for 41 years, retiring September 1994. He served in the United States Army during peacetime and was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church in Reading. He is survived by his son Mark D. Ray of Leesport and his daughter Susan B. Ray of St. Petersburg, Florida along with his grandchildren Michelle E. and Evan M. Ray.
