David Moyer

David Moyer, 85, of Reading, passed away February 14, 2010 in St. Joseph Medical Center Emergency Room. He was the husband of Marjorie L. (Sulman) Moyer. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Abraham and Annie(Yaffee) Moyer. Mr. Moyer was employed by Goldstan's in Reading as a weigh master, then by Campbell's Mushroom Company in Evansville in Quality Control and then operated Dave's Groceries and Novelties in the Fairgrounds Square Farmer's Market for 10 years. He served in the United States Army during WWII and was a member of Congregation Shomrei Habrith. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters Aileen D. widow of Neal H. Endy of Pennside, E. Roxanne, wife of Les Walker of Batavia, Ohio, his sons, Stan B. husband of Kristine K. Moyer of Sinking Spring and Jay H. husband of Margaret R. Moyer of Muhlenberg Township. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brett A. Endy, Chad M. Endy and Elizabeth K. Moyer along with his great grandchildren, Carson N., Logan C., Ardyn N. and Ava L. Endy.
