David Gehris

David E. Gehris, 96, of Wernersville, passed away on June 10, 2017 at Phoebe Berks Health Care Center.
Born in Wyomissing, he was the son of the late Paul U. and Marguerite E. (Eagle) Gehris.
Mr. Gehris was a United States Army Veteran, proudly serving his country during WWII. He was employed as an aircraft mechanic for Reading Aviation Service for 31 years, retiring in 1981.
He was married to his late wife Eleanor E. Gehris for 44 years. He was also predeceased by his son: Timothy R. Gehris.
A graveside service will be held at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:00AM.
