Daniel Fick

Daniel C. Fick, 82, of Fleetwood, passed away Saturday December 26, 2020 in his residence.

He was the husband of Janeth F. (Schwartz) Fick, who passed away July 8, 1990.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Paul O. Fick and Helen E. (Manmiller) Fick.

Mr. Fick was the owner was of PD&L Contracting for 30 years prior to his retirement. Prior to owning PD&L Contracting Mr. Fick was employed as a cement finisher by the Cement Masons Union. He raised cattle and horses and always kept busy working.

Mr. Fick is survived by his children Alvin D. Fick, husband of Jacqueline (Pratt) Fick, of Five Points, TN; Daniel N. Fick, husband of Donnajean (Rothermel) Fick, of Shoemakersville; and Paul A. Fick, widower of Amy (DeFrancisco) Fick of Bath; and 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings David P. Fick, Leonard A. Fick, Ralph A. Fick, Barry W. Fick, Benjamin L. Fick, Elsie J. Fick, Nancy E. Reider and Ruth A. Heffner. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Heather and by his siblings Alfred Fick, Robert A. Fick, Mary J. Keller and Barbara E. Frederick.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home, 1605 Rockland St., Hampden Heights, Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held graveside at Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood at 2:00 pm.
