Dale V. Ungerer

Dale V. Ungerer, 81, formerly of Macungie PA, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at Country Meadows of Wyomissing where she resided since November 2021. Her daughter and sons were by her side. She was the widow of Joseph H. Ungerer who passed away September 9, 2014.  Born in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Herbert G. Cannon, Jr. and Nancy (Olds) Cannon.  She was employed as an executive secretary at Dun & Bradstreet until her retirement.  She is survived by her children Nancy A. Gottschall wife of Aaron T. Gottschall of Exeter Township; Joseph G. Ungerer husband of Ana P. Ungerer of Parkland , FL;  Christopher H. Ungerer husband of Brenda Q. Ungerer of West Palm Beach, FL and her 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother Thomas Cannon of Sarasota, FL and was preceded in death by her sister Deborah Flaiz and grandson Brandon.

Dale had a passion for animals, especially her faithful companion, her cat Missy who resided with her at Country Meadows.

The family would like to thank her friends at Four Seasons in Macungie for their caring support, express gratitude for the care and love she received from all of the staff at Country Meadows and to LifeSong Hospice for the comfort and compassion they provided.
