Curtis Manley Jr.

Curtis W. Manley Jr. 72, of Exeter Twp. passed away on Saturday December 26, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lancaster, Curtis was the son of the late Curtis W. Manley Sr. and Jane (Krentz) Manley. He is survived by his beloved wife Edda B. (Welak) Manley.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Manley is survived by four step children; Robert S. Bloss, Eric Shellhamer, Monica Rodriguez and Scott Shellhamer as well as seven step grandchildren. He is also survived by three siblings; Wayne Manley, Jane Ann Sheckard and Linda Tshudy.

After graduating with a degree in electrical engineering, Curtis went on to work as an engineer at Bechtel for more than twenty years and at Sargent & Lundy for more than a decade. He enjoyed watching Eagles football, golf and especially The German Soccer League. Curtis also enjoyed good food, especially barbeques, cakes and sweets. He would always be there to lend a helping hand in family projects.

The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Homes and Crematory 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring on Wednesday December 30, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. A private celebration of life funeral service and Interment will follow at the convenience of the family.
