Crystal Krause

Crystal A. Krause (Weidner), 58, of Flying Hills, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at The Reading Hospital. She was the loving wife of James A. Krause for 18 years, before he passed away on June 16, 2020. Born in Pottstown, she was the loving daughter of Marlene (Ellis) and George Moore. Crystal was a 1981 graduate of Exeter Township Senior High School, where she played field hockey, and basketball cheerleading . After high school, Crystal worked as a bar steward and later went on to become one of the original students of Carol Ennis School of Dance,  she was a graduate of the Model’s Institute, and went on to Model in New York City, Reading and Philadelphia. She served as a Bartender to the Lower Alsace Beneficial Association for over 30 years.

In addition to her parents, Crystal is survived by her sister, Abby Steinmeyer, wife of Mark of Reading, her niece and nephew, whom she loved so dearly as her own, Sophia & Anthony Steinmeyer, and her step-son, Shawn Krause, husband of Shannon, of Philadelphia.

Crystal is also predeceased by her step brother, David Weidner, who passed away in 1999.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
