Sinking Spring

Craig M. Shaffer, 67, of Sinking Spring, passed away December 10, 2020 in his home surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Walter and Eva G. (Fasig) Shaffer.  Craig was the husband of Cindy L. (Williams) Shaffer, together they shared 49 years of marriage.  He enjoyed watching fights and Old Western movies, going to the beach and camping, and loved his Ford cars.  Craig was a simple but funny man who loved to relax with an Old Milwaukee, ride dirt bikes with his sons, shoot pool and trap shooting, loved dancing on a Saturday night with his wife, and make full meals on the grill.  But what brought Craig the most joy was his family and his animals, Lexi, Zoe, and his favorite cat Mingh.

In addition to his wife, Cindy, Craig is survived by his sons, Jamie Shaffer, husband of Shira of Wernersville, and Brandon Shaffer, of Mohnton.  His grandchildren; Tyler Shaffer, husband of Olivia, Alex Shaffer, partner of Jordan Yeager, Brianna Shaffer, partner of John Lutz, Madison Shaffer, Alana Sink, and Bradyn Shaffer,  his great grandchildren; Paisley, Draven, Wade, and Sawyer, his siblings; Beverley Szkwarek, of Shartlesville, Jerry L. Miller, husband of Nancy of Stoney Creek, Tina Matthias, wife of Donny of Fleetwood, Brad W. Shaffer, husband of Joan of Shillington, Toni Cox, wife of Bruce Hall of Shillington, and Troy D. Shaffer, husband of Tracy of Fleetwood, and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.  He is preceded in death by his two siblings, Harold F. Fasig and Alice J. Shirey.
