Constance Schmehl

Constance H. Schmehl, 84, of Smyrna, North Carolina, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at 1:35 am in her residence. She was the wife of the late Warren R. "Pat" Schmehl who passed away May 20, 2011. Born in Birdsboro, Mrs. Schmehl was the daughter of the late John H. Henry, Sr. and Edna (Reynolds) Henry. She was a1952 graduate of Reading High School and was a member of Community Evangelical Congregational Church in Sinking Spring where she taught Sunday School for 50 years and was a member of the Choir and worked on a history of the Church and attended Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church in Smyrna, North Carolina for the past 8 years. Mrs. Schmehl is survived by her daughter Debbie A. Kocher, wife of T. David Kocher with whom she last resided and her sons Gregory S. Schmehl, husband of Gail Schmehl of Wakefield, Rhode Island and Brian K. Schmehl of Beaufort, North Carolina and her grandchildren Amanda and Amber Kocher; Christy and Beth Schmehl.
Funeral Service will be held in Community Evangelical Congregational Church 51 Green Valley Road, Sinking Spring, Friday, July 27, 2018 at 12 Noon. Reverend Michael Snedeker will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends in Community Evangelical Congregational Church Friday 11:00 to 11:45 am.
