Clyde G. Staley

Clyde G. Staley, 88, of Reading, passed away March 28, 2011 at 11:20 PM in St. Joseph Medical Center where he was a patient since March 25th. He was the husband of Irene A. (Toye) Staley who passed away September 4, 1984. Born in South Mountain, Franklin County on February 28, 1923, he was the son of the late George and Laura (Naugle) Staley.

George was employed for more than 20 years as a machinist by Trim Master Corp. until his retirement. He was a US Navy veteran of World War 2.

George enjoyed going to the Berkshire Mall and Wegman's Restaurant to socialize with his friends.

Surviving is a daughter Bonnie L. (Staley) wife of Kevin W. McMullen of Kenhorst and 2 step grandchildren Lt. Kevin W. McMullen, Jr., USMC and Molly B. McMullen. He was predeceased by 7 brothers, Horace, Crawford, Willis, Clarence, Alvin, Glen and Ray and 2 sisters, Elsie and Esther.
