Clifford Burkman

Clifford P. Burkman, 80, of Reading, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Reading Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan L. Burkman who passed away on November 30, 2016. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Peter Burkman and Margaret (Homan) Burkman. During his life he was employed as an Electronics Technician for Gai-Tronics retiring in 1999.Clifford served proudly in the United States Army. He was an active member of the Lions' Club for many years. He is survived by his sons, Mike Burkman, husband of Michelle Burkman, of Blandon; Thomas Burkman, of Reading; James Burkman, husband of Melinda Burkman, of Laureldale; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Clifford is also survived by his siblings, William Burkman, of Blandon; Robert Burkman of Texas; Dennis Burkman of Michigan; and Jean Rossi, of Lancaster.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 7th, 2018 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Maidencreek Banquet and Bingo Hall located at 1060 Park Road, Blandon PA 19510. No flowers please. Online condolences may be made to www.beanfuneralhomes.com.
