Claudia R. Seltzer, 90, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away on January 11, 2017 at her residence.
Born in Charlottesville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Ila F. (Sandridge) Courtney.
Claudia was employed at Lucent Technologies for 27 years until her retirement in 1985. During her tenure, she was a member of the AT&T Clown Group, which performed at nursing homes, for disabled children, and at various other charitable events.
She enjoyed going out to eat with her friends, meeting friends every Friday at the Fairgrounds for coffee, and going to the Laureldale Senior Citizen Group once a month.
She was predeceased by her husband: Harry R. Seltzer and son: Charles H. Seltzer.
She is survived by her children: Debra L. Seip of Muhlenberg, with whom she resided with and Dorothy I. Zeiber, wife of Robert of Muhlenberg. She is also survived by 6 granchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
At the request of Claudia, there will be no viewing, and services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
