Clarence Prutzman, Jr

Clarence B. "Benny" Prutzman, Jr., 90, of Alsace Twp., passed away on January 29, 2017.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Clarence B. Prutzman, Sr. and Francis (Englebrecht) Prutzman.
Clarence was employed by the Reading Railroad, working in various capacities. He was also the proprietor of CB Prutzman Roofing and Siding. He served on the Oley Valley School Board. Benny enjoyed gardening and especially loved his dogs.
He was predeceased by his wife: Alice M. (Morgan) Prutzman, grandson: Nathan P. Prutzman, Brother: William Prutzman and sisters: Virginia Martin, Edith Shurilla, and Betty Colletti.
Survivors include his children: Judy F. Prutzman of Reading, Clarence B. Prutzman, III, husband of Jane E. of Alsace Twp., and Frederick H. Prutzman of Temple. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 12:00PM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10-12:00PM. The interment will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
